The intranet now has a dark theme
TL;DR: You asked for a dark theme, and Youssef built it in less than 24 hours. Click the moon button at the top of the intranet and the whole site switches to dark. Click it again and it goes back to bright.

Our learners are nurses, teachers, shop owners, students and parents. Many of them take the course late in the evening, after work, after dinner, after the kids are in bed. A bright white screen at 11pm is not the best study partner.
One of our learners wrote to us on Discord: "The intranet needs a dark theme." Youssef started working on it right away, and 21 hours and 39 minutes later it was live.
How to turn it on
Look for the moon button in the header of the intranet, on any page. One click and everything goes dark: the chapters, the quizzes, your dashboard. You can switch back any time.
Why it helps
It's easier at night. In a dark room, a dark screen is simply more comfortable to look at for the sessions and quizzes.
It saves battery on many phones. On phones and laptops with OLED screens, dark pixels use less power. Many of our learners take the course on their phone, so that counts. On other screens, it won't make much difference.
It's your choice. Some people read more easily on dark, some on light. Neither is better for everyone, which is why it's a button and not a new default.
We won't tell you dark mode is good for your eyes or helps you sleep. The research on that is mixed, and we try not to claim things we can't back up. That's also the first thing we teach: check what you're told.
